We're pleased to let you know about a new all-weather turf football field that will be put in behind Roehm Middle School where the current grass field now sits. You may have already heard about this on the radio or read about it in the Sun News Article.

Through a grant from the NFL Youth Football Fund, the Cleveland Browns will be contributing $250,000 towards the project. The field will be named in Lou Groza's honor and is scheduled to be completed before this fall's football season. The City of Berea and Berea City Schools also helped fund the project.

This will be a top-notch, all-weather field and will be used by Lou Groza Football as well as the Berea Schools and Cleveland Browns (for youth events). This is a huge step toward further creating a solid foundation for youth sports in our area.

Huge thanks to Ryan Devins for his leadership and determination, pulling the parties together and laying out his vision for this project. We're blessed to have such a committed leader of Lou Groza Football, who values families and community as much as strengthening youth football in our cities.
